The Chakras
Within the human energy field there are seven layers
of energy, each corresponding to a force center or
vortex that, in turn, corresponds to a specific area of
the physical body. These vortices are referred to as
chakras. They serve as portals for energy to flow
between and in and out of the layers and through the
fields.
As the body is symmetrical, so is the alignment of the
chakras. The seven main chakras follow the center
meridian of the body along the line of the spine.
They begin at the base of the spine with the root
chakra, then the spleen chakra, the navel chakra,
the heart chakra, the throat chakra, the brow chakra
and finally the crown chakra.
The twenty-one minor chakras are located on the
body where fourteen energy strands cross. These
locations are in front of each ear, over each breast,
at the top of the chest where the clavicles meet, in
the palm of each hand, on the soles of each foot,
behind each eye, one associated with each gonad
(near the testicles in men and near the ovaries in
women), one near the liver, one connected to the
stomach, one to the spleen, one behind each knee,
one near the thymus gland and one at the solar
plexus.

manifestation, parts of the physical body, senses and
emotions. “Opening” the chakras to allow flow
between the layers and balancing of the fields
achieves healing.
